Adjuvant, Inc., a consulting firm based in Fairfax, Virginia, delivers information, services and products through the Internet. This Internet privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") describes
the privacy policies applicable to Adjuvant's Internet Web site located at www.adjuvant.com.
If users have questions
or concerns regarding this statement, they should contact our Privacy
Officer at privacyofficer@adjuvant.com.
Our policy is to respect the privacy of all visitors to our Web
site and to protect personal information entrusted to us. We believe
that it is important for you to know how we treat the information
that we collect through our Web site and other means. By using
this Web site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, and
also agree that it applies to any information that you provided
to us. Please read our Terms of Use for other specific policies
and rights as they pertain to this Web site and any products or
services offered by Adjuvant. In addition, the site may provide
links to other non-Adjuvant, U.S. and non-U.S. sites that may carry
different privacy notices.

When reviewing any privacy statement on the Internet, you should
be familiar with the terms “personally identifiable information” and “aggregate
data.” “Personally identifiable information” is
any information that can be used to identify, contact or locate you
as an individual. Common examples are your name, mailing address,
email address and any credit card information you provide to us. “Aggregate
information” or “aggregate data” refers to information
or data that we have compiled about the behavior and characteristics
of users of this Web site, which information and data could not be
used to identify you as an individual.

In general, visitors to Adjuvant's Web site are not required to reveal
personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”).
We do, however, collect general information about visitors through
standard web logs, such as your IP address, what browser you use
(e.g., Explorer or Netscape) and the domain name from which you
entered the site (e.g., www.yourcompany.com or www.youruniversity.edu)
(collectively, “Technical Data”). Normally, we use
Technical Data in the aggregate to administer and improve our Web
site. Some Technical Data may be traceable to an individual, but
we do not as a practice use Technical Data to identify individuals
unless we believe that someone is using our site improperly.

Adjuvant uses an Internet device called a cookie to store login or
other information on your computer. A cookie is a small amount
of information that a Web site transfers to your computer's hard
drive. We may use cookies to simplify your access and to tailor
our content or services to your needs and interests. For some services,
we may offer users the choice of having an ID or password stored
in a cookie so that you do not need to re-enter it when you return
to the site.
We also may monitor how our guests use our Web site, to determine
how well our online content is faring. To achieve this, cookies are
analyzed to report information about our visitors and their behaviors
while on our site, solely for our internal use. Most Internet browsers
are set to accept cookies. Users can reset browsers to refuse cookies
and still use our Web site, although access may be slower and less
convenient.

Adjuvant relies on various service providers and other contractors
to support our Internet site and some business operations, and
may share the Technical Data and Personal Information with such
third parties. Adjuvant shares information with contractors who
directly support our Internet services and we require them to use
the information on our behalf in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We also may share information with credit card processors, auditors,
lawyers or other contractors, who are contractually required to
use the information only on our behalf for the purpose of the disclosure
in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We require such third parties
to destroy or return the information when it is no longer needed.
The privacy notices of these third parties govern any information
that they may collect on their own. When necessary or appropriate,
we may disclose information in response to a court order or subpoena
or when otherwise legally required. We also reserve the right to
disclose information as appropriate to protect our Web site or
legal rights, and in connection with a sale or merger involving
our assets. In the event Adjuvant goes through a business transition,
such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling
a portion of its assets, users’ personal information will,
in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. Users will
be notified prior to a change of ownership or control of their
personal information, by a prominent notice on the company website
30 days prior to a change of ownership or control.
As noted above, we also collect a variety of Technical Data. Technical
Data may be used, for example, to assess usage of the Web site and
to customize the content and layout of the web page for each individual
visitor, to analyze users’ reactions to the design and content
of our Web site, to improve the performance and functionality of
our Web site, to analyze software compatibility issues and for internal
reporting purposes. Any Technical Data regarding your individual
use of our Web site will not be disclosed to any parties who do not
need such information to assist us in the support of our Web site
and our business operations.
From time to time, Adjuvant collects and compiles information for
business purposes, such as researching and identifying market segments
and needs of value to its clients or prospects. Adjuvant may develop
products based upon such data collected to be sold or shared with
the general public, clients, prospects, re-sellers and third party
users for various business decision-making purposes. Adjuvant may
collect personal information online to process a credit card transaction.
